Tamika C. Carter is a Washington, D.C.-based travel business specialist and founder of Group Travel Academy, formerly the International Group Travel Agents Association. Her background includes more than 20 years in travel entrepreneurship and business development, along with nearly two decades in HR and recruiting.

Groups Today named Carter among its Top 10 Most Influential Women in Group Travel. She owns Caribbean Mastermind Retreats, a travel agency for coaches, and founded On The Go, LLC in 2003, specializing in music festivals and major events.
