The course uses video instruction alongside thinkorswim-specific tools. The recordings show Watkins discussing trades as they unfold, while the instructional components explain the setups and rules behind the method.

Strategy Class

The Strategy Class introduces the core Moxie approach through the Trampoline Setup, the Elf Shoes double-bottom pattern and entries at moving-average support. Watkins examines these setups primarily on daily, hourly and 15-minute charts.

Recorded in 2020, the class uses examples from that period to demonstrate the method across its principal timeframes. Its focus is on recognizing the chart conditions and support areas associated with the setups.

E-Learning Module

The E-Learning Module lays out the method’s entry rules, including Moxie divergence, a 50 SMA cross and a zero-line cross. It connects those triggers to the process of deciding when a setup is ready for an entry.

The module also addresses trade management: it discusses stops placed 2–7% below moving-average support and a position-sizing approach that begins with a half-size entry before scaling in.

Moxie Indicator

The Moxie Indicator is a proprietary thinkorswim tool used to identify momentum signals. Within the course, Watkins looks at divergence, zero-line crosses and 50 SMA confluence as part of the signal framework.

The indicator uses higher-timeframe MACD histogram logic. The wider Moxie method applies that calculation alongside specific rules for entries, stops, position sizing and analysis across timeframes.

Moxie Scans and Watchlist

The package includes pre-built thinkorswim scans and a watchlist for finding Moxie setups. The scans are designed to surface potential setups in real time, providing a way to identify charts for further examination under the method’s rules.

These tools are built for thinkorswim, as is the Moxie Indicator itself.

Moxie Mastery Quarterly

Moxie Mastery Quarterly consists of recorded sessions that extend the course material beyond the foundational Strategy Class. These recordings are more recent than the 2020 core class.

Two days of Elite trading recordings

The Elite component includes two days of recorded trading. Watkins trades in real-time market conditions and provides commentary, allowing viewers to follow his discussion as the trading sessions unfold.
