The 15-module stage hypnosis curriculum
The curriculum progresses from the psychology of hypnosis through performance preparation and business development. Later modules address ways to establish a stage identity and expand a hypnosis business.
Modules 1–3: Foundations and mindset
The opening modules examine the attitudes and psychology associated with stage hypnosis. They cover self-hypnosis for confidence and success, along with compliance and suggestibility in subjects.
Modules 4–6: Instant inductions
These modules introduce Las Vegas-style rapid inductions and explore the psychology behind them. They also cover approaches to resistant subjects and fractionation as a way to deepen trance.
Modules 7–9: Building a stage show
The performance section presents four pre-show steps, followed by volunteer selection and management. It also examines timing, pacing and classic routines used for entertainment.
Modules 10–12: Booking and promoting shows
The business modules address bookings for corporate, college and military events, as well as performing on cruise ships. They cover pricing and selling packages rather than hourly services, and creating promotional materials for shows.
Modules 13–15: Stage persona and business growth
The final modules explore developing a distinctive stage persona and handling different audience types and situations. They also introduce recurring income streams as part of building a hypnosis business.
Bonus training and promotional resources
The course includes safety training and a case study of a student’s first paid show. A video collection contains four complete student shows to study, while transcripts provide written versions of all 15 modules.
Business and promotional materials include a sample stage contract, a DIY promo video kit and a fill-in-the-blank press release. Website templates, nine business card designs and six promotional poster designs offer additional starting points for marketing a show. The music collection contains more than 100 copyright-free tracks.
