Brand strategy skills you’ll build
- Run client-ready brand research with questionnaires and survey templates
- Turn raw research into a clear strategic point of view
- Facilitate a scripted brand-strategy workshop with a client
- Structure and present strategy so stakeholders buy in
- Use custom prompts and Custom GPTs to speed up insight work
- Sell strategy and guide what happens once a direction is agreed
From foundations to a strategic point of view
The curriculum starts with foundational clarity before moving into research and the interpretation of findings. It focuses on developing a strategic point of view that can be used in a real client engagement, rather than treating branding as an exercise in visual design.
Research materials include questionnaires and survey templates, supported by worksheets alongside the video lessons. The course also provides frameworks for working through research findings, with custom prompts and Custom GPTs available as tools for insight work.
Client workshops and strategy presentations
A scripted brand-strategy workshop gives practitioners a structure for working through strategy with a client. Presentation outlines and examples address how to organize the resulting direction and communicate it to stakeholders.
The material also covers selling strategy and guiding the work after a client agrees to a direction. These topics place the research and presentation work within the wider process of a client project.
Case studies and course materials
Real and practice case studies accompany more than 40 examples spanning B2B and B2C. They give learners material to examine alongside the course’s research, insight and presentation frameworks.
The downloadable materials include videos, PDFs and documents, with worksheets and templates for use throughout the strategy process. The prompts and Custom GPTs support the work, while the practitioner remains responsible for the judgment behind the strategy.
Who the training is for
The course is suited to freelance designers, marketers and strategists who work with clients or want to begin doing so. Its foundational starting point can also help a motivated newcomer follow the progression into practical strategy work.
The emphasis is on leading strategic conversations, not creating visual identities. Logo craft, typography and layout are outside the curriculum.
